The godfathers of prog rock, Yes paved the way to so many of todays and yesterdays bands with their ground breaking sounds, techniques, and over-all feel. Nothing yet has come close to the power of Yes. You havent heard music until you've heard one of their albums (particularly "fragile" and "close to the edge").
