Another Green World are the ultimate chill out, featuring ethereal keyboard wizard Paul Chousmer and dare-devil saxophonist Dan 'Spannerman' Carpenter. Between them producing an eclectic blend of electronica, woodwind and percussion, with melodies strongly influenced by the likes of Erik Satie, Holger Czukay, the Klezmer tradition and Lee 'Scratch' Perry
They came together for their first performance, an extended 4 hour improvisation, in Chislehurst caves, in 1984 (on a psychedelic mystery trip organised by Christian Paris of Alice in Wonderland).

In the years since their formation they have witnessed the birth of Club Dog, played live parachute sets at Whirl-Y-Gig, appeared at Megadog, The Big Chill and Return To The Source, became stalwarts of the festival scene, appearing regularly at Glastonbury and Guildford festivals, and on the Whirl-Y-Gig stage at WOMAD on several occasions

Also contributed to a wealth of compilation albums including several Planet Dog, Return To The Source and Whirl-Y-Gig releases

In 1996, Another Green World joined Magick Eye Records and released the CD 'Invisible Landscape'

Paul and Dan have worked with various artists over the years ~ recorded with Ricky Gervaise ~ toured endlessly with Webcore, not to mention 'Ring of Roses', 'Earth Nicht' and 'Spannerman'.

Together they toured with Circus Archaos and The Thunderdogs across Europe and Scandinavia in 1991-2

Dan has appeared with Jamiroquai ~ and toured in Australia with his own performance band 'Spannerman' ~ Is currently running a new Jazz-Punk Big Band 'Spanner'

Paul managed, and played keyboards with, Webcore, facilitating several releases through Jungle records ~ Recorded and toured with Fields of the Nephilim 1989 - 91 ~ Produced Nitzer Ebb's first recording ~ Appears regularly on Astralasia recordings and performances ~ Founder of Zuvuya, including recording a Peel session in 1994, and producing the Terence McKenna album Dream Matrix Telemetry ~ Collaborated with Jake Stephenson (of Optic Eye - until Jake's sudden and sad passing in 2005) ~ also features on the recent Judy Dyble albums 'Spindle' (check out 'See Emily Play') and 'The Whorl'

Has been performing with Ozric Tentacles in europe in 2006

Paul lives and works in the dark wilds of Somerset, conjuring up new soundscapes in his studio there

AGW will be playing a new quadraphonic set, featuring Bass Clarinet, Bells and Electronica, in Michael Dog's chillout lounge at Solfest, Cumbria in August 2007
