Tim Mungenast's ancestors build churches in Tyrol (that in the mountains of central europe), he now builds soundscapes of psychedelic tunes.
Go to his homepage and listen to the stuff
!. I was impressed from the first 3 beats of
Candle
and glad to have his CDs in our record collection. He doesn't do everything by himself , but has a lot of people playing with him. That make the stuff more lively than a one band band would be. But still these CDs are Tim's records, as he's the composer of all the tunes and a really great guitarist. I hope he will be the most famous of the Mungenast clan.

This is the second record of Tim Mungenast and his friends. It's said to be more psychedelic, maybe. Tracks like
Candles
where you end up sitting on top of the highest hill in Tibet or
He's radio
where you will be introduced to a DJ who was transformed into radio waves when he died.
Invaders from Below
take you from cristal clear to acid saw guitar. Texts are surrealistic and the songlines are not only cathy but painted in many sonic colors. Great stuff!

Tim's first record contains 11 songs (and a hidden bonus track) from psychedelic instrumentals, far eastern tunes, funny freaky sounds, surrealistic texts to experimental synth sound. So this record won't be boring any minute! I think I love the catchy and eerie psychedelic tune "Demons" the most, or the freaky sound collage of the hidden track called "Masters of Cranberry", I just can't decide.
