This psych-folk gem has gone by quite unnoticed, which is a pity, because this Italian reissue of an obscure 1972 album really deserves better.
In mail-order catalogues it has been compared to Donovan and Incredible String Band, and it's certainly as good as any of those two. Not so overtly commercial as Donovan and perhaps not so out and out psychedelic as the ISB, this one has maybe stood the test of time better.
There is a short musical theme running recurrently through this 40 minutes long CD, linking the different songs together, giving it an almost conceptual feeling.
Musically, lots of acoustic/electric guitars, sitars, even some backward effects but above all GREAT SONGS making this one a winner.
It comes highly recommended, and being reissued on the excellent Italian full review Grindelwald Gus
