Got this as a complimentary copy given to me by J.D. himself at Midnight records. This is REAL acid rock - heavy, distorted, freaked out gee-tar thrashing, strong punkish vocals. Not lame-ass hippie rock like those old-time Frisco bands (you know who I'm talking about) that's labeled as "acid rock". It's all good, real good, all 9 tracks, start to finish. Note- This isn't the truly authentic fuzz n' distortion sound of vintage 60's garage punk/ psych/freakbeat which I inhale, but that tells you how much I like this to recommend it nevertheless. In fact it sounds to me at times quite a bit like The Stooges early stuff like Funhouse, particularly the stuff on "side 2" as its labeled on the CD. If you like that you'll probably really like this. I'd say its one of the better guitar rock albums you'll ever hear. Too bad there's no other stuff from them.
